No memory

Baby said he loved but the feeling in my gut determined that was a lie
the so called love of my life walked away and didn’t even try
forever was promised and I fell for it again 

 just like so many times before my love story is at another end
i can’t even be mad because I never trusted it to work out
what kind of man disturbs a woman’s heart just to feel her with doubt
all these questions I have but the answers I will never receive 
the devil himself on a mission to steal kill and deceive 
just a quitting man with no backbone that chose to walk away 
I won’t allow you as a memory and I’m so glad You didn’t stay
everyday without out you is so beautiful I embrace the new
you are no longer the thought I think I have no memory of you
