Just Breathe

I feel a suffocating pain
Deep inside my chest
It's somewhat hard to explain
But I'll try my best

I've been to doctors
To see if it's something more
Or if it's just a minor thing
Something I can ignore

They told me I'd be fine
I just needed to relax
Fore if I didn't calm down
I may have a heart attack

That night I went home
My chest felt real tight
I just chose to ignore it
I thought it would be alright

The next morning I woke up
I knew something was wrong
My mom drove me to the hospital
The wait wasn't long

I told them everything
How I felt the night previous
The doctors just looked at me
It made me quite nervous

They wheeled me down the hall
And told me what to do
Just breathe and count backward
We promise to take care of you
