Just Friends

You wanna know what I see?
I see a Man full of wisdom and beauty
Yet he’ll tell me about his flaws but when I look at him I don’t see any of those at all.
His words encourage me,his friendship inspires me,his talents amaze me and his creativity mesmerizes me. 

I lose track of time when we talk and when our conversation ends,I’m ready for the next one to begin. 
I tell myself I’m to old to have a crush and we’re just friends. Haha,I guess at some point those lies will end. After all, we really are just friends.

He’s the kind of man I could give myself to,show him a world he’s not use to. Show him what it’d be like to have someone who’d always believe in him,help him sleep at night and keep a twinkle in his eye. 

Again, we are just friends. All though he is amazing and his very presence is breath taking. Well, that’s enough, now it’s starting to sound like we’re more then friends but really we’re not. We are just friends.
