Just Gone

Just Gone

I don't remember who called me
Funny, how I just don't
Sunny day turned suddenly cold
Upside down and like a cruel bad dream
It was odd that you died the wayΒ
I had said you would when told of that car
The one you bought so proudly
Tried to bring it to show me
I wished I had been there that day
Maybe one word of caution from me
Perhaps if you saw I did love you after all
That my lesson had been well learned by then
But it was too late then
You were Just gone..........
