just a pathetic poem for a crush

Dear person i seem to like
If you haven't concluded it from the name
This poem is for you
I don't want to write a cliche crush poem
So i won't even make it rhyme
(If there is any rhyming it's not intentional)
But i just need to say this:
Every time i see you my heart starts beating faster
Or it stops
Or do both at the same time
I don't know how but you cause it
And i'm pretty sure that it will lead to some sort of health problem
I already walked into a door today when you walked past
And i'm sure doctors wouldn't recommend walking into doors
I know i'm usually clumsy anyway
But somehow this is much worse
So the reason i'm writing you this odd poem that's not even really a poem
(And which i probably won't even be able to give to you anyway)
Is because i would just like to kindly ask you
If you could just be a little less you
To help me save doors from any potential collisions with my face
I don't know what you do to your eyes to make them so blue
But could you just stop
And that thing with your hair and your walk and your voice definitely has to go
I also recommend you donate your smile for charity
I'm positive it's able to light up someone's day
And could you come pick up the thoughts of you
I think you accidentally dropped them in my dreams
And you being the perfect height aren't working
So either be so short i wouldn't notice you or so tall i wouldn't see you
Could you also please make your sense of humor less like mine
And maybe your personality a little less likable too
And one last thing
If you ever read this
Please erase me from your mind
Because i will already be trying to make myself disappear
If you could work on all the things listed above
You would be doing my state of mind a solid
Kind regards
The red faced person trying to avoid you

this is adorable and most precious!
what intense feelings we go through when we are captivated by someone, such infatuation our world is skewed!
I love this, and can relate despite being in my mid 30's! lol
much enjoyed
