The coldness of the winter chill bites 
As she hurriedly walk home
The bus was very late tonight
She don’t like to be out alone

She took the keys out of her purse
open and lock the door behind her
shower and sits with a hot cup of tea
And covers watching TV on the sofa

Same time that night across the city
Another girl wasn’t as lucky as her
She works the late night shift
and her life will change forever

cause on the subway platform 
She was pulled by two men
Who had their ways with her
And left her broken never to be mend

She was found by a passer by
then she awakes in the hospital
And was question by the detectives
But she never remember anything at all

She couldn’t go back to work
She was never the same after
She decides leaves the big city 
And go live with her mother

One morning she got so sick
When she smells deodorant
So she went to doctor
Turns out she was pregnant

She sits in MacDonald's
Thinking over a cup of coffee
Didn't I had normal life"she said
Why this did happens to me

What is she going to do now?
She’s pregnant for the rapist
Her mother was very supportive
Saying" i will help you get through this

so they went to the local church
and they kneel down and prayer
saying god will show us the way
because god is every where

She spoke to the local priest that day
Who said "this is an innocent life
She always wishes to be pregnant

So she decided to have an abortion
And when she was opening the clinic door
She ran into an old friend from school
they haven't seen for ten years or more

and he ask her to go out to lunch
And started talking of days gone by
She told him about her situations
And he hugs her when she cries

He told her of his crush for her
And it has never gone away
and then he Ask her to marry him
And he become a father that day

They both stand clapping proudly
As they watch their son graduate
Then all went out to Manhattan
to have dinner and to celebrate
