Poem -

To Kathy, My Love

Thirty seven years of your caress,

Having young ones, so young.

To endure all of the pressure that you had,

Sometimes, I felt so sad.

But with all went through……..

No regrets………

People always put you down,

With no support from myself.

I only cared for you,

To hell with them.

To us, no one else………….

If I could only change,

The way it was,

My promise to you would be,

As it always was,

Or you and our children,

The family tree.

You put up with me so long…..

In this life for us,

So patient with our children,

Never to fuss.

Always giving of yourself,

So much.

If we could ever do it all again,

You could twist my arm,

And I’d say when.

Because I finally realize,

That it’s me…..

That won you………Thank Thee!
