Poem -

Keep Living

I’m knocking, is anyone there?
My face is pressed against the glass.
All I see are clouds surrounding me.
My feet give out and i’m on the grass.
It is the second time it happened this week.
My arms and legs are cut up from my fall.
Obviously it is my own fault.
In my head I hear again, the call.
I'm done with knocking on people's doors.
I rip the mask off my face.
I scan to room for people near by.
I am alone in this place.
I have two Option and I am conflicted again.
I believe I am ready to go and face another day.
I begin to cry
even though I found a way.
I wake up early the next day.
I believe I can survive.
The sun shines on my face.
I am still alive.
