Keep the gallop

(lonely hills)

Those hills they did get lonely
The flowers they did die
But the horses kept their gallop
As sun shone in the sky

Went on life did as things do
Birds still flew, wheat fields grew
As would the cut of loneliness you knew
Etch closer to another you

People changed for the better
To breathe the air got easier
See thru the clouds in the rain
How sun above shone brighter
Was the way of the world now

So the horses kept their gallop
Bees ate the nectar in the flowers
And love once I knew alas was over

Hello Rory...

Beautiful write!

The last two lines are sad...

Maybe, something great will come your way and can change that part next year or sooner...

😊

Thank you for sharing...
