Keep your eyes on the clock

Keep your eyes on the clock since you may not get a second shot.  Tick tock, Tick tock goes the clock.

Hurry, you better find your socks.  Get up in the morning don't forget to make your bed for another day lies ahead of you.

Do you realize that every second that life is passing you by and what do you have to show for it?  Many will answer the question with a "I don't know."

Why don't they know?  They don't know because it hasn't dawned on them yet that their life is passing them by or maybe they don't set goals or have a purpose for living.

It doesn't really matter because the only reason that I'm writing this poem is to awaken people's mind.  Yes, it's ok to get out and grind and don't forget to keep your eyes on the clock. Tick tock my time is up.
