kiss

kiss

An act so simple
Yet conveys so much
A million words
In just one touch

Many different kinds
Each means something new
All produce a smile
No matter when or from who

It can heal a child’s pain
Or show that you care
Be a prelude to passion
Or just something to share

Whether from a mother’s heart
Or from a lover new
Even from a friend
Creates a warmth so true

Use it to say goodbyes
Use it to say hellos
Or to express the love within
When it overflows

Whether rained upon your face
On gently on your lips
This is of what I speak
The simple act of a kiss

AUTHOR WILLIAMS...

Dear Poetess Sarah,

I love to read the below lines from our verse.

An act so simple
Yet conveys so much
A million words
In just one touch

There is no surprise most people find kissing pleasurable, since there is a larger area of the brain devoted to sensations from the lips than from the entire upper body. Not only that, but five of our 12 cranial nerves are activated during kissing. Medically, physically, psychologically, this love activity is both harmless and pleasing and loveable. Thanks for your great posting. So much of verses still being written on kissing

Regards

WILLIAMSJI
