The Kiss

Her eyes,
As entrancing as a fire
Drew my face close to hers

Her short, hot breaths
Scorched my face like a desert wind

My tongue caressed the silky softness of her lips
And then into the moist, sensual comfort of her mouth
Only to be electrified by the sharp contrast
Between her teeth and her warm, wriggling tongue

And there I ended it with a parting of lips
But with just a small smear of midnight shadow
across her chin

To remind her,
I am Man
