Knee High Grass

it can be ignorant
The swirling sky
Deaf blind
as it passes high
Slippery, those clouds it births
Impervious to all on earth
Never answeringÂ
A question asked
From I below
In knee high grass
Only laughing
As I try to reach
Its blue
Slippery as a sea born eel
Too fast to grasp too high to feel
Uncaring that I gaze above
And ask what might there be to love
Beyond...

I agree, itâs a beautiful little poem this. I find it uplifting like itâs subject. Though I sense a tinge of sadness as well, as far as reaching out to the sky and the clouds to get a glimpse or feel of itâs beauty but not really being able to? Does that make sense?Â
Hi Greg...thanks so much for taking the time. I kind of struggle with the whole life death thing as you can probably tell lol. I want so much to believe, I actually feel there is so much more to us...after death, but then I look at the world and wonder about that age old question. Is God a psychopath? x
