Poem -

KNOW...

KNOW...

Know
That I worship you still
Touch my lips to dewy leaves, and
Gorge myself on rolling hills, that
I am dazzled by your power
In the still dusk
And the dawning hour

Know
That I am bewitched
Forever
By my footprint in your damp soil
The reflections in your lakes
The glory of the snowflakes
When you rouse yourself
And shake

Know
That I am awestruck
Always
By the electric charge of thunder, by
The wind that blows the land,
by
The fierce bolts of lightning
that
Your potent force commands

Know
That I am grateful
Eternally
For the myriad colours
Conjured like magic
Ripe fruit on the trees
The force of rushing rivers
For love for hopes for dreams

Know
That I adore you
Passionately
For the nurturing we found
And, as your children of all species
It is to your breast we're
bound

Know
That I love you Mother, and
That when it is gone, that
When you sigh your last breath, and
Fail to rise the last dawn

Know
That I'm sorry.

Ha...we are truly doomed now I think, when you add all the small effects throughout the globe, the bigger picture is very alarming. We are arrogant in the assumption we can control everything Cherie and that will be our downfall. We cannot be shocked by the collapse of a bank if we have stolen all its assets...but man is very inventive, I'm sure they will find another world for us if we don't pollute the cosmos in the process! Thankyou ?
