Know-Nothing Judges

What we have here is inexperienced Judges
You would think a breath of fresh air, 
Not only to find when you lose your case
And find yourself sitting in an electric chair 

They will occupy the bench for decades 
Starting out not knowing what to do, 
All they know is how to be a lawyer 
With no experience, just plowing through 

Judicial Elections need to go
They don’t need to be voted in,
By popularity or partisan affiliation 
That’s where corruption starts therein

Judges should be voted in for five year terms
While being rotated throughout the counties,
More experience is needed to know what it’s like
To be a defendant, a Jury and in other capacities 

There’s more that they need to know
Not go from lawyer to liar to Judge,
Classes in Psychology and Narcissism
Personality Disorders they need to acknowledge 

Judges need empathy for a defendant 
Study the cases with more thought,
Than slam down their gavel and walk away 
Quickly deciding if someone is guilty  or not
