Ladies like us

For a long time we’ve felt sorry for ourselves, confused about what’s next. Let brilliant things turn dull, and we’ve allowed emotion to limit our capabilities. 

For what? 

We are strong, we’re us. 
And when have we ever, allowed someone to tears us down as he did. 
Never, so why start now?

We hold our heads high, we walk with pride. Ladies like us don’t slouch, don’t bend, we don’t break. So say bye to feeling sorry, say bye to asking, ‘why?’ 

Because ladies like us, show confidence, even when we have none. Show strength as the last thread snaps, because we are nothing, if not strong enough to carry on. 

Yes, wait, take a break. 
But don’t quit, if you stop trying to be the best you that you were born to be, you’ve already lost. 
And ladies like us. 
We don’t lose, not now, and not ever.

Look at everything you’ve done, everything you thought you could do. My mistake, look at everything you can do. Because as I write this to you, I make a new promise. 

I know the world is watching, many praying I fail at anything I try. I promise to stick my middle finger up, and throw one big fuck you, to anyone, who’s saying I’m any less then I am. 
Because ladies like me, like you, like us. When things get tough, we’re the last to cry. Because we know, there’re no time for silly things, we’re here for the win.

And ladies like us, always win.
