Poem -

Lady Fair

Lady fair
The keeper of dreams
The sun does not relish
Facing your sweet radiance
Why angels cannot
Admonish thee for your
Laughter
They can only unfurl their wings in envy
For my lady queen   you are made of flesh and blood
Not cosmic rainbows or moonbeams
No dusty goddess can outshine ruby red lips
And skin of pearls
Your ardor is like the aurora borealis itself

In spring the flowers all compare their hue to
your cheeks
The liquid sunlight that pours at noon
Tries to match your hair
Oh my, my lady
this
 poor mortal
man has no chance
Against so much.
you make this man take notice
And want to live in dreams.
So I can find you
