Late Hello

(Late Hello)

Despair?
“Inside voices ring
Through my brain,
Through the cold fog,
An answer will slowly appear.”

Dusk highway
Your beautiful eyes
And smile,
I keep riding by. (Riding by)

Tortured poets heart,
Broken glass
My heart bleeding
Your voice gently singing to the rain.

Headlights,
Flashing
Late hello,
I keep riding by. (Riding by)

Barely breathing,
I feel your gaze,
Your presence,
Warm asphalt,
My cold body,
Aching heart,
I lay.

Flashing bridge lights,
Losing sleep,
Comfort when I’m near you,
Safe, I’m afraid to go home.

And we smile,
I see you.
Lonely fireplace,
Crying sky,
Your warm lips
You made me strong
Screaming stop signs,
Late hello
Please see me,
I keep riding by. (Riding by)

Oh, gosh, Gregory,

I sure hope that on one of those "Ride Byes", her door opens up to you forever.  I feel your pain.  May the future erase it.  May she open her heart permanently, and cure yours.  We'll all pray for you, Gregory.  Excellent write.

Peace and Love,

xox Larry
