Late Winter Nights

Late Winter Nights

a late night winter
a memory so blinde

a spot I chose to stand by:

late nights

starry skies

longe talks; once cries

belived the lies

time didn't seem to stop by.

to far to hold

reach out; no support.

it wasn't you

so long ago

but you have already moved on

no longer in that same hole,

still sitting in this crater

dug by my own soul

for my mind and body to be buried whole.

I look at us and think

'who ended

who let go'
