Lay Him In A Valley

Lay Him In A Valley

Lay Him in A Valley

Sing for him

A sweet but silent dirge.

Disturb not his peace.

Walk away

On your toes tips.

Make no noise

To awaken his tired soul.

Lay Him In A Valley

And whisper your goodbyes.

Lay Him In A Valley

Adorn his open grave

With daffodils galore.

A reminder of his many successes.

Read to him a mute

Tribute.

Say nothing,

Make no noise,

To awaken his tied soul.

Lay Him In A Valley

And whisper your goodbyes.

Lay Him In A Valley,

One reminiscent

Of the alley

Where the Omniscient's

clock seized to tick for him,

And it was his turn

To leave this rotten field.

Tell the world

his broken tale

of the gun barrel

That spat out a nail

and not a bullet.

Call in those with the gavels

Give them ample time to ponder

Over nothingness,

And to come to no conclusion at all.

There is nothing else

left to be said.

No punishment,hard enough

To atone

So.......

Lay Him In A Valley

Rigged with nymphs

of souls lost

To lull him into eternity.

Sing for him

A sweet but silent dirge,

Read to him a mute

Tribute.

Disturb not his peace,

Walk away on your toe's tips,

Make no noise,

To awaken his tired soul.

Lay Him In A Valley

Let your goodbyes

Float on the wind

To where his cracked heart

finally finds rest,

To where the wound of betrayal

still oozes with distress.

Leave him to rest.

He's played his part so

Disturb not his peace.

Just.....
