Leaves

I see leaves scattered across the ground
and dancing through the air,
whirling around me. 

Freezing my heart to the bone
Seezing my ability to be cold

Help me, I scream. 
I'm screaming
I'm not seeing things right, 

Why am I so cold?

My senses blur, 

I count.
One...
T-two...
Thr...

I can't breath around the numbers
as they clog my throat. 

Help me, I cried out
I'm crying
Something isn't right

The wind picks up again and I feel
I'm so weak it carries me with,
Or so I wish

Take me to the abyss, 
no feeling
no freezing

I'm counting,
One...
T-two...
Three...

Deep breaths, 
In, 
Out, 
Calm. 

But I can't speak around
the lies I'm saying

Help me, help me, help me!
I can't see, everything starts to fade,

What's left, 
besides the leaves in the air?

Not I, I cry.
