In Lebanon

In Lebanon there is silence
No hint of wanton violence
I hear Beirut and I can see
The destination that it could be
Now have your visa
And have your luggage
Have your trust rest in me
As I have the world enchained

I have gone to unveil sanctuaries
Dismiss all the dignitaries
Czars of underworlds rise to descend
Wonders and signs of the end
On Easter Island there is some clue
In the Amazon you must discover
Let any dark mystery ascend
Anything that has you enchained

In Utopia there is disorder
Oil-spilling to Cockaigne's border
I hear Romania and almost can taste
Cotnari's vintage, making me haste
I have my visa
And I have my luggage
There will be no time to waste
As I'll have the world enchained
