Left on the Sidewalk

Left on the Sidewalk

It was left
on theĀ
sidewalk
the emotion
that I had

Learned quickly
weakness
is better
leftĀ
unspoken
as
the predator
will always
smell
the scent
of blood
and will
gravitate
towards
it

Strength
however
is not
how the
world
PerceivesĀ
it toĀ
be
as it
does
not need
to be
flaunted
for
its
innerĀ
energy
isĀ
enough
to sustain
its
glory
Ā
