Less Than

my life is a square root

no remaining numbers

just the same digit

multiplied by itself

to reach a perfect answer

yet all I've ever wanted is to be

lost in the mix of fractions,

given the opportunity to find myself

without equal limitations

without a conditional statement

where I'm not defied as a simple

whole number

all I want is to subtract the variables

put in place to make sure I attain a

perfectly congruent life,

leaving only the less than balanced

equation that I am
