Lessons Learned

I think too many people have the wrong idea about what it means to settle down or be with someone…

They’re so worried about life passing them by that they're letting all kinds of amazing people and opportunities pass them by…

Having someone there can serve to enhance those experiences and make life’s moments’ all the more special, not hinder them or tie you down…

There is no metaphorical ball and chain attached to saying 'I love you’…

On the contrary, to love someone is to embrace who and what they are, and in some cases that means a free spirit…

Having one person that loves you and cares about you is infinitely more rewarding than random sex with 100 people…

Some people have been burned in the past though and are scared to let someone get that close again…

Saying "I Love you” is easy, but letting someone reciprocate, and allowing yourself to trust them is hard...

Fear is completely rationale and understandable, but…

Love is not always rationale and doesn't always make sense, you can't help who you fall in love with and you can't live your life scared of what may or may not happen...

Go through life with your eyes closed the whole time because you’re scared of what you may see and you’re going to miss a lot of beautiful things....

But in this case it’s not their eyes that are closed, it’s their hearts…

I'm not saying that it’s going to work out or that you won't get hurt, but don't worry about that, instead enjoy the ride and live in the moment because life is too short to do otherwise…

You can't know what will happen in the future, but you can take advantage of the present…

It’s easy to say, but no one chooses to be scared…

Its more than just a conscious decision, it takes the help and support of friends and the people you care about…

No one can do it alone...

Don't be afraid to rely on others...

When you get hurt, and there will be times that you will, let your friends catch you, or help you up when you fall...
