Lest I forget...

Take me back to where i was nothingĀ 
Way back before Deity's love made me something
Lest arrogance engulfs my personĀ 
And murders all voice of reason
Remind me that I once needed grace
That my circumstance I could not face
Take me to the placeĀ 
Which was to be my graveĀ 
Before He who has no nameĀ 
Found me worthy to saveĀ 
May I never become too bigĀ 
To serve the poor and weak
Cause me to remain humbleĀ 
And not make my fellow man stumble
Remind me where I come fromĀ 
Remind me who I was…
