Lest I forget...

Lest I forget...

Take me back to where i was nothingĀ
Way back before Deity's love made me something

Remind me that I once needed grace
That my circumstance I could not face
Take me to the placeĀ
Which was to be my graveĀ
Before He who has no nameĀ
Found me worthy to saveĀ
May I never become too bigĀ
To serve the poor and weak
Cause me to remain humbleĀ
And not make my fellow man stumble
Remind me where I come fromĀ
Remind me who I was…
