Let Go

When you let go of self, you become one with all,
Short as the grass, yet like the trees, so tall.
As sincere as a loving hug from a mother,
Your soul becomes filled with love like no other.
Embodying true freedom, in a world of restraints,
Opening your heart to peace, in world full of hate.
Putting other people first may seem daunting,
But helping others when you can, is better than taunting.

When you let go of self, there's more room for God,
More room for Him to work, to clip ends and odds.
You thought your life was rough now, try it without Him!
You'll regret it, go back, and then never doubt Him!
We all have our own lives to live here on Earth,
And you have the power to make it better or worse.
Just by loving your current situation,
You can pass down raw joy to the next generation.

When you let go of self you put others in your place,
The universe will notice, and add love to your space.
Everything you do will have promise, and passion,
When you are hungry, there will be ration.
When you are thirsty, your thirst will be quenched,
You'll live out your dreams, go ahead, pinch!
All you have to do is say and believe,
And watch God pour out more blessings, than you could ever receive!
