let's chat

if objects could talk...
See my sucked in stomach...
I'm trying
Mirror whispers it’s disapproval
High heels… where's your makeup?
Just another project
Want a donut?
The box asks,
Then looks with scorn
As I let my diet fly...
Just this once
When I shovel in my breakfast
I hear the forks.
Late again, late again
They sing their merry tone.
“You wore him yesterday
Are you sure those jeans are ok
You look like you ate a whale.”
Clothes are everything
“Maybe if you wore me…
Don’t you want to fit in
Can’t you look good for once?”
Even my scuffed up Chucks
Must say something
Did you get five pounds heavier
Look at her feet…
At least 3 inches shorter than you
Lose some of that fat would ya?
Backpack groans at the sight
Of me coming
Phone begs me to
Open SnapChat
Whines about my streaks
Come on slowpoke…
No wonder you have no friends
At the end of the day,
Bed greets me
With open arms,
the one loyal thing

Joya,Â
How did I miss these poems??!! Sorry.Â
You are so amazing, and I've never even seen you, but I don't need to to know that.Â
Awesome, fun write, but never worry about yourself, because you're perfect(and the bed is the only smart one!).Â
