LETTER TO THE LORD
The place where you are stationed in life
Helps little if you are without spiritual fervor...

Dear Lord,
In my weakness I ask this in all humility
Please afford me heavenly wisdom
That I may learn to seek you in all things
I wish desperately to remain intent
On following the ways of the Interior Life
Where I might find true peace and glory
If not in you, then where?
For as I glean insights from the world around me
I find that I am lost in the lovely ballet of it all
I am afraid that the daily distractions
And the amazing observations you provide
Through such glorious human beings
That the Interior Life may be lost to me
Must I be a man who makes a promise
And then fails to fulfill it
Will you come and heal me dear Lord
Wait patiently for me
It is temptation that distresses me so
An unreasonable thought that frightens me
I fear that I am only heaping sorrow upon sorrow
And in this,
My letter of complete faith in you
I pray that your gifts of pain and adversity
Lift my soul above complaint or depression
And delivers me to my initial intent
The gift of true peace and humility
In my struggle through this
The Interior Life....

Your just an amazing person Tony. Know the struggles you have been through, yet you persevere. Your an inspiration. I never told you but I dabble with music also. Was a classical singer when I was young, and also used to be call Paul JR in hs as I imitated my voice to sound like Paul McCartney. Love you Bro! We have alot in common.
