Letters

Letters

In the light of your letters,
I find my peace, that place,
where your heart spoke
as your words flew free.

A memorial of your gathered
thoughts, every line savoured.
I feel the ebb and flow of
the weighted words, as they
flutter like colourful butterflies
wings, to touch my heart, my mind.

They may fade, but will remain,
timeless,alive, never to age.
An immortal friend, in who
we confided, trusted and
shared our dear lives.
