LYING

I remember
Way back when
To tell a lie
Was a great big sin

But now we lie
All the time
We give no thought
That it's a crime

We lie to family
And to friends
On and on
It never ends

Sometimes big
But mostly small
We don't seem to
Mind at all

But, we should each
Have more couth
And try much harder
To tell the truth
