My heart moans
From somewhere deep, it groans
It can't be true
But tears fill my eyes
My heart tells me lies
While I keep on searching for you

My head, spinning in grief
Life is all too brief
Here with me, one moment
And then you were gone
Reality crushes denial
And life keeps marching on
