Poem -

This Life

This life not like you wanted it,

stuck in this world where you would never fit.

So many things you wish you could change,

never knowing the truth, so foreign and strange.

Never understanding why,

living made you want to die.

You try so hard,

yet you always seem to end up scarred.

But you have come to far to give up now,

to live this life and more you vow.

Next life you will be more than all this,

and crawl out of this deep dark abyss.

Spread your wings and fly away,

but for now you must live in this life and decay.
