Life to me...

Burnt and broken down memories of my bleeding heart,
All foretold in the scars of my past.
Reborn and renew, cleansed with opened eyes of this cruel world.
I’m no longer a child nor a woman.
Up growing into hatred, betrayal and foolish boyish games.
Used, abused, misused, mistrusted and left to rot.
Future ahead, what future?
No sense of longing, wanting nor need to acquire to hold onto this body that has been tarnished.
I am and will become death, as death has become a Part of me …
that making me death. I am death and yet I live!
I became the part of me that I hated yet grown to love.
I may not have a future as of yet, but I have a story to share…and my legacy shall be shared!

i really enjoyed reading this , it has a dark sense to it , it feel very mysterious in a way i felt like it gave off a happy sadness in a way but yet it still felt like a tragedy , i like the way this was wrote out as well you can tell a lot of emotions dwell within this poem
Thanks a lot Shante, i wrote this poem two months ago but was not ready to post it yet as it felt undone.
Greetings Carmen,
A poem whose character, holds onto a life of distraught, sadness felt in this poem, as stated by (Shante),although with it, dwells the ability to continue on, without the time needed to take, in order to feel sorry for the plight of the deliverer, yet with her hurt, brings not only pain but strength, strength to allow herself the gregariousness within herself, even though she feels alone and an out cast. She continue to move on, realizing that her true destination and fate, relies solely on her beliefs and her beliefs, contains all of her pent up anger and strengths, that arises, when she needs them the most. (Which is at all times)....A poem, whose character, displays a heart lost within itself and afraid to continue to be broken and mistrusted. A life well to look forward to but the past constantly taps her shoulder from behind, for a companionship and to forever, be her ultimate down fall....Very powerful poem and at the same time, a call out for help, (from the character), beyond that, which she delivers to herself...
Kindest of regards,
Jim
