Lost Love

When your body is as cold as the darkness that winter brings

When your tongue breaks words of hurt and sorrow with no regret

Your soul has lost its way back and walks the earth lost and

Leaving you an open vessel of sadness and despair

You are hollow and lifeless and longing to feel whole again.

There is no life in your eyes and happiness no longer has a home with you.

Lost love is the cause of my condition.

My memory has erased the chapters of my life when it was lost

I cannot remember why and who did it all I know is I am dead inside

I have so much space inside me to hold love yet I have none to give back.
