Life: A Mystery

Life is a camera,

That has a negative and a positive,

From darkness light emerges,

Yielding a beautiful picture.

Life is an ocean,

Whose troubling waves,

Piercing the solitude of nature,

Are only but a moment,

And all comes to normal later.

Life is a driver driving in the snow,

Not knowing the road ahead,

Draws strength from the universe,

From the power of intuition,

He reaches his destination.

Life is a mystery gate,

We go through with closed eyes,

The road ahead we know not of,

We hear a thousand singers at this gate of ours,

Our misery is lost in their thousand songs.

Life is in a pregnant woman,

Whose pain in labor is fierce as a whirlwind,

Swoops on a tree without warning,

She endures her way through it,

Smiles are seen from faces in the room.

Life is in a man,

Who has friends

But still is in a desert without a companion,

Can only trust himself or,

Be a Columbus of new continents.

Life is in a desert cactus,

Ignored for now and for years to come,

With the harsh nature of its birth

The dryness of the desert.

Knows who it is and what it ought to be,

Stands bravely amid all.

Just as the camera yields pictures of beauty,

The oceans troubling waves at peace,

The driver reaches his destination,

A man keeps searching for himself,

And a desert cactus stands brave,

I shall also reach my potential from within,

This is Life.
