Life of Man (pt.1) Males

Looking at the male of this species, it's near impossible to categorise individuals, based on common characteristics or lifestyles.
Each is adaptable, and able to hunt and mate in changeable conditions.
Granted, some are better at some thing's than others, but most have the ability to survive the toughest conditions, and their success, largely, depends on themselves.
Here, in the colonies they construct for mass populations, their engineering skills can really be appreciated. Every material they use for these super structures has been engineered using tools they have engineered for any purpose, often, with unbelievable accuracy. Their talents for miniature, and grand engineering really is something to behold. From the microchip, and vehicles, to the golden gate bridge, one can only marvel at their ingenuity.
They can work and live effectively in groups, and alone, but as with all animals, disputes will occur. Be it over food, a mate, family, or territory, each will fight to the death to protect them.
Often, if a dispute ensues just between two individuals, then, a rather primitive hierarchy exists, where, the biggest and strongest usually defeat their smaller, or weaker adversary. However, it is not uncommon for the smaller, craftier male to come out on top. Disputedly, the smaller of the species does tend to show evidence of a higher iq than that of its larger, more powerful counterpart, but this by no means is always the case. A large angry male is not something I would want to irritate, not without suitable protection or armoury at least.
But to summarise, brawn nor brain's seem to guarantee a successful survival.
Many factors affect this, and not just black and white facts.
There is of course, the grey
But that's another story.
