I keep on thinking of when we were children
Just about every dayI keep on thinking of how life was simple
I keep on wishing things had stayed the same.I keep on longing for a life so simple
Just why did so much have to change

There is so much longing in this read. I think we all reach a point in life, where we wish time could of stayed still within a moment that you suddenly recognise as being perfect. You captured that sensation throughout this poem

What I wouldn't give to go back to when I was a kid id do a few things different that's for sure.
Childhood should be a place where we wish we could go back to. If we find ourselves wanting to go back to those lovely carefree days it means we were lucky enough to have had a good childhood. Life as an adult is full of stress. It is one thing after another. I often think back to being a kid where my only problem was having to go to school. Those were the days 👍x
