A Life Unfulfilled
I wake from my sleep
Hoping for a better day
This year has been tough
Many aches, pains, and
Many tears
Hoping for a better life
The relief I get from home is work
Depression kicks in on the drive home
My mind is racing for a resolution
To my problems
There is no end in sight
My heart is broken
And my soul is hurting
I cannot take much more
The kids are my light
In the darkness
Through their eyes, I see hope
It is the end of the night
Still hoping and praying
For a better life
