Lifeless

When I think of it now it seems an age away
Time has now passed and I no longer can live a colorful day
That feeling of hope and joy that filled me to the top.
Those feelings I don’t have any more!my body has told them to stop.

When life shines on you, you feel the gift of gods grace.
Then comes the darkness and you’re nothing but an empty space.
This knot in my stomach which never never goes.
My body is zapped of it’s energy from my head to toes.

I sit here surrounded by people and not one of them know.
This dark feeling inside of me, can someone please make it go.
I miss those past days when life brought me a smile.
I have to get through this even if it takes awhile.

To stand on life’s peak and see the bright blue sky.
For me not to worry about that old feeling let it pass me by .
When that day comes I’ll be the worlds happiest man.
The long road starts here! It’s my life saving plan.
