Lifespan

Lifespan

I have had a beautiful life
The things that I have seen
would turn your head this way and that
and rival magazines

I helped construct the moonlight sky
I worked for oh so long
She looked so close I often boast
I felt that I belong

Now I see my life is up
I hear the sounding drum
I’ll see her there with her brown hair
 And many more to come
