Lightning Strikes

Under the black sky of night
a deep rumbling of thunder
is heard from nowhere
ripping the air to plunder

after a pause in the darkness
a flash of lightening is seen
racing across the entire sky
where silence had once been

white veins of electricity
pumping sheer power along
lighting up the landscape
after Thunder`s deep song

the stage is set for the show
as Thunder sings their song
and Lightening illuminates
as we the audience look on !
