Like A Noir

Incredibly black, with a value of zero, 

Like a film noir, 

There is no fill light, to fill out the shadows; 

It’s a classic scene, 

A beautiful time, and a beautiful place 

Friends, family, loved ones are near, 

Contrast and image 

Sharp, and clearly separate and defined, 

Lack of Omni light and presence leaves all 

Incredibly light, incredibly black 

A cataclysm begins the hammer fall 

One by one, in mental health, 

The decline 

The body, soon to want to die 

Is there a meaning to this 

Cries out the last one standing 

It is either incredibly light, 

Or incredibly dark… in shadowed filled presences 

Black and white, massive grays, 

There is no Omni light to save, 

A presence, nor color in this world 

Anymore, nevermore, any further 

The creeping death of a noir 

Out of the blacken shadow
