LIKE A SNOWMAN

He had a headache
(But life was a headache to him)
And he had taken paracetamol
And then gone out into tbe garden
Wearing a T- shirt and shorts.

It was cold and he got goosebumps.
Feeling useless he began to cry
And went on crying.  Started dreaming.
And with his tears he began
(In his mind at least)
To melt away:

His arms, legs,
His body:
He was disintegrating.
Made from earth.
Returning back to the Earth
From which perhaps (perhaps)
He should never should have
Been created.

(Though he had provided
Some entertainment and pleasure).
He fell apart in that garden.

Weeks later they found
His remains in the garden,
Serving no purpose
