Like me

such big clear skies
on this beautiful night holding billions of stars
to shine down their light
Still for my eyes only one catches sight
A twinkling brilliant beauty
A colorful spectrum of light
My mind begins to wander from everyday questions of life
Could I somehow be connected to this blinking ball of light
I think myself to sleep and then dream
Myself throughout the universe
Flashing my own color scheme
Oh, how I dance, how I soar, and sing.
In my dreamland we are all one,
I dream we are all the same
When I woke the next morning, as impossible as it seemed
You, and I were no longer one
The sun has chased away the dream
Left me standing alone
Outside of me

Unfortunately, among so many of the masses
the deception still remains the same
You are you, and I am me
 Nothing much has changed

So when the skies, retain the sun
I don't let it get me down
For I know tonight I'll think myself to sleep
And soon again all will be one

 oh brilliant blinking Beauty
such a awesome Spectrum to see
are you as consciously aware of me
as of you I remain to be
do you often wonder despite the distance between
How you can see my shining light
Colorfully glistening
Do you hang around in your stellar star space
Watching me dance through life
Do you see yourself as me
Grooving your own spectrum of light

There is one thing I hope to carry from the message of  my dream
There is no separation here
Our own reality is the true dream
