Lilt

The summer rain has nourishedÂ
the soil of life ,
the efflorescence of loveÂ
In dawn's early light.Â
we plant our heartsÂ
in sunrise lather,
that arose the mondegreenÂ
of serendipitous clatter. Â
Beats are mellifluousÂ
a self-orchestra dance,
creating harmonyÂ
in the hosts of romance .Â
Oh, how fate does tempt itselfÂ
like a game of cat and mouse,
inevitably it will succeedÂ
in it's search for us.Â
And the stray winds blowÂ
through the tunnels of fire,
a path to suppressionÂ
of an illuminating spire .
We stand armed as manyÂ
two hearts bearing love,
defending the devil's attemptÂ
in denying us.Â
Beats are mellifluousÂ
a self-orchestra dance ,
creating harmonyÂ
in the hosts of romance.Â
Viewing the efflorescenceÂ
of dawn's early light.Â
