Limpid tears
Leave limpid pools
From angels
Full of sorrow
As guardian angels
They still feel pain,
From the suffering
Of others lives,
Their hand upon our shoulder,
Is there consoling us
But it creates a connection
That broaches
Compassion and love,
Through that one connection
Heartfelt emotion is shared,
If you never knew this before
Even angels care
And they tread
Where others won’t dare,
That’s why the know
What suffering is,
They are with us
In each passing moment,
They never abandon a soul
Good or bad right or wrong,
They are not there to judge
But to spur us on,
To help us keep faith and to console,
They are there to guard
But not control,
They are there for us
Even though we don’t know
And they share our pain
And when our light goes out,
Their limpid tears
Fall like golden rain
And leave limpid pools of light.
