Poem -

Lioness

You believe this is war?

A war you've claimed to win?

Well honey, the joke's on you

Your fate was sealed that night

Even if there was a chance, it shattered

Just like the window you burst through

But guess what?

You've done nothing but push him and I closer

It hurts to realise you've already lost

Resorting to name calling

Just like a child throwing a tantrum

I may be younger in years

But my mental maturity outranks yours on every level

And so I won't ever let you bring me down

I'm stronger, a fighter

I am a lioness protecting what is hers

Fierce and deadly.
