Lips

He grabs her hand
Her heart stops as she grabs his.

He looks into her eyes,
She returns a gaze

His eyes sparkle with oceans of blue
Her eyes shower with a field of green

Young and careless his lips move nearing hers
Young and terrified hers repeat the motion.

Their lips touch and fireworks erupt in the distance,
the fireworks fade as their faces spread

Pride runs through his veins
Chills run down her spine

He stands
She stays

Both wonder what next as they parts ways to
rethink the moment a thousand times.

It describes a kiss so well, especially a kiss with the right one. I think it is a great write.
