Little bear Ted
Where could he be
I can't sleep without my bear TedĀ
I want him here with meĀ
Is he in the toy box ?
Or is he in the draw ?
I've searched all around my bedroomĀ
He's not in there for sureĀ
Maybe he's on an adventureĀ
Through the Forrest into the wood
Having a Ted bear picnicĀ
I'd join him if I could
Oh little bear Ted
Ā please come home
I don't like it in my bed at nightĀ
All on my own
Maybe he's been captured
By pirates searching for treasureĀ
He may be made to walk the plankĀ
And be lost at sea foreverĀ
What if he got beamed up
By aliens out in spaceĀ
They would fly him around the moon and stars
And he'd be gone without a traceĀ
Oh little bear Ted
Ā please come home
I don't like it in my bed at nightĀ
All on my own
He could be on a steam train
Chuffing down the track
He's only got a one way ticketĀ
Never to come backĀ
Imagine if he's ran away
To join a circus troupeĀ
Walking high wires with acrobats
And doing loop de loops
Oh little bear Ted
Ā please come home
I don't like it in my bed at nightĀ
All on my own
Bear Ted could be stranded
Far away in TimbuktuĀ
Oh if only I could find you TedĀ
I'd take good care of you
But what's this in the basket ?
Lay in the washing heap
I've found you Ted my dearest bear
Now it's time to go to sleepĀ

Hey SPENCER!!.... cool read.....I could see a parent.... sitting on the side of the bed..... reading this to their child as their bedtime story....... perfect timing..... so this reads beautifully when read aloud...... working on a children book are you?..... well you're off to a great start if you are.......ALL STARS!!....... well done.......LOVE and ROCKETS !!....T xo
Cheers tony I really appreciate your feedback ... yes I would to write a kids book .. I write stories for my own kids and they seem to like them , this one was about my eldest daughters ted which she lost all the time and would not go to bed without it ...Ā
